Oakville International Curlers' Gathering
Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4, 2026
The Gathering is returning to the Oakville Curling Club in 2026. Applications are now being accepted for this 32 team open (any combination of men and women) event. Entry fee is $800 (CDN) per team and includes 6 (6 end) games guaranteed with a Ceilidh dinner and dance on Friday evening and in club entertainment on Saturday and Sunday.
In the first 3 years, The Gathering has received teams from Scotland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, 11 US States and 5 Canadian Provinces.
The Oakville Curling Club is a premier 8 sheet facility serving the surrounding community and is a preferred practice spot for curling professionals. The Oakville Centre Holiday Inn is located near the club and has offered preferred rates for the attendees. The Ceilidh is once again being held at the Holiday Inn.
Oakville is conveniently located in Ontario's Golden Horseshoe, with Niagara Falls and wine country to the south and cosmopolitan Toronto to the east, conveniently accessible by commuter train. The short distances to each offer great off-ice experiences. Toronto's Pearson International Airport is 25 minutes from Oakville.
Team Registration Policy
The objective of The Gathering IV is to obtain a geographically diverse field of teams allowing Curlers to interact and experience fellowship with Curlers from abroad. The targets for geographic diversity are;
- 8 Teams from Europe / Asia,
- 8 Teams from the USA,
- 8 Teams from Canada outside of Southern Ontario, and
- 8 Teams from Southern Ontario including 4 extended Home Teams from the Oakville Curling Club.
Preference will be given to teams which bring us closer to our targets for Geographic Diversity and applications will be accepted accordingly.
Team Application - Non-OCC
All team applications will be reviewed to optimize geographic diversity.
Successful applicants will be required to submit $200 down payment to secure their spot.
Balance will be due at a later date closer to the event.

Meal Tickets
- For the Gathering, the registration Fee includes 4 Kitchen Ceilidh tickets. If a team is coming with extra team members or spouses, they will need to buy extra Ceilidh tickets to attend the banquet
- For the BBQ, everyone needs to buy a ticket if they want to attend the BBQ.
Meal and BBQ tickets will become available for sale closer to the event date
