The Oakville International Gathering is shaping up to be a wonderful event hosted by the Club with a banquet party, the Kitchen Ceilidh and a live band on the Saturday night of the Gathering, Fiddlestix.
Team registration for the event is full but there are sparing opportunities if you want to participate and be part of the fun. Please contact Rick Brady for more details on sparing for the event.
Summer practice ice is available on the Oakville Curling Club website. As a registered and fully paid 2023-24 regular season member or summer league participant, you can reserve ice for personal practice via the website at no additional cost.
We ask members to be mindful of other members and not book multiple practice times on a particular day. If this occurs, your subsequent bookings may be reassigned at the Club’s discretion. Dear OCC Members,
On behalf of the Board, I'd like to take a moment during the holiday season to express our gratitude to all the staff, volunteers and members of the Oakville Curling Club. Although the season began late, the conveners have done a wonderful job organizing the leagues and we hope you are enjoying the return to play. And, if not having success on the ice, then we hope you are at least enjoying the post-game camaraderie in the lounge. If not for all of you, the Oakville Curling Club would not be the community we all enjoy. Whatever your holiday plans, we wish you all a safe and relaxing time spent with those dearest to you. Curling season begins next week! To help members prepare for the upcoming season, the Instructors will be available for a Coach on Call format during practise ice time. You can approach an Instructor and they can provide you with a two-minute tune up. If you feel like you could use some input on making you a better curler, then have a chat with an instructor. See you out on the ice!
