The Oakville Curling Club is looking for a dynamic individual who is willing to learn about the world of curling/icemaking and believe that their presence will add to the already upbeat/positive attitude of the membership. Someone who is willing to go above and beyond to assist in making ice to the highest standard.
- Ice maintenance as per the training of World-Renowned icemaker Scott Foster
- Sweeping and mopping up snow on the ice, pebbling, scraping
- Vacuuming backboards
- General ice shed and clubhouse maintenance.
- Snow removal when appropriate and necessary
- Assist the bartenders (clear glasses, stock fridge and cooler)
- Set up and tear down tables and chairs for functions as required.
- And whatever else is required to make the club an enjoyable and safe place for our members and guests!
