The Christmas Holiday Season is just around the corner — and that means it’s time for one of Oakville Curling Club’s most cherished traditions: The Family & Friends Bonspiel! 

Gather your favourite people — family, friends, neighbours, and newcomers — and come celebrate the spirit of curling, connection, and community. This joyful two-day event is about more than just sweeping and sliding; it’s about laughter, togetherness, and the memories that warm your heart long after the ice melts. 

What’s in Store

• A full day (or two!) of curling fun, whether you’re a first-time curler or a seasoned skip.
• Festive games and contests that add a twist to the traditional bonspiel — including Karaoke, a Spoons Tournament, and other fun challenges for Bonus Points and prizes!
• A celebration of the bonds that make the OCC community so special — because when we gather, it’s not just sport… it’s family. 

Who Can Join

• You must be a Registered OCC Member to enter a team (limit of one team per adult member).
• Recent & Active L2C Curlers may enter one team per L2C Family. L2Cers who don’t yet have an online account can create one [HERE].
• Teams with 3 or more experienced curlers should register for Draw B – Experienced Draw on December 27.
