Ensuring everyone has access to our facilities and feels welcome
We’re pleased to report that our accessibility project @OakvilleCurlingClub is almost complete. The grant we received from the Ontario Trillium Fund for $200,000 helped us comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), which aims to make Ontario fully accessible by 2025 by identifying, removing, and preventing barriers for people with disabilities. While much of the work has been done, we’ll continue to assess future improvements to ensure everyone has access to our facilities and feels welcome.
