Oakville Curling Club has partnered with the Oakville Festivals of Film & Art to help promote the documentary CURL POWER. It tells the story of five best friends who juggle their lives as teenagers with the goal of winning the Canadian Junior Curling Championship. Coached by their former Olympian moms, they navigate the pressures of intense training, competitions and social lives. This intimate and imaginative coming-of-age documentary tells a story of angst and ecstasy while pursuing a goal.
We’ll give moviegoers a taste of curling with Rocks & Rings in the cinema lobby. We’re also hosting a contest for a chance to win TRY CURLING sessions at our club. We hope you’ll join us!
Sat, June 22, 2:30pm at Film.Ca Cinemas
