The Annual Meeting of the Members (AMM) of The Oakville Curling Club will be held via ZOOM video conference call, on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at 7:00pm.
In the week ahead, meeting material will be made available on the Club’s website along with registration details for the video conference call; members MUST pre-register for the AMM call.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the meeting, however, if you would like to ask a question in advance, please email the Secretary of the Club, This email address is being protected from spambots. If you are not able to attend and would like to submit a proxy, a proxy form will be made available with the meeting materials. As per the amended Bylaws and Articles, approved March 11, 2024 at a Special Meeting of the Members, the following procedural changes apply to the Annual Meeting going forward.
- New/Other Business will no longer be accepted from the floor during the Annual Meeting. Any business members wanted raised for discussion must be submitted in writing to the Club Secretary for Board review at least 60 days (April 27th, 2024) prior to the meeting.
- Board Nominations will no longer be accepted from the floor during the Annual Meeting. All nominations must be submitted in writing to the Club Vice President at least 14 days (June 12th, 2024) prior to the meeting. Nominations beyond the deadline can still be accepted but may only be considered for vacant Director positions by the Board in an interim Director capacity.
An email notification of above changes was sent to all members not in attendance on April 11th, 2024.
