Oakville Curling Club Announces Results of Annual Meeting and Welcomes New Board Members
Oakville, Ontario – June 26, 2025 — The Oakville Curling Club is pleased to announce the successful completion of its Annual Meeting of the Members, held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. The meeting served as a forum for celebrating the Club’s achievements over the past year and charting a course for continued success in the season ahead.
As part of the meeting, the Club confirmed the appointment of several new members to its Board of Directors. The Oakville Curling Club proudly welcomes:
- Sue Makin* – Secretary
- Mary Jane Carroll* – Director of Day Women’s
- Nicholas Small* – Director of Youth
- Hester Liu – Director-at-Large
- Tim Schellenberg – Director-at-Large
- Brian Townsend – Director-at-Large
*Acclaimed to the Board of Directors.
These dedicated individuals bring a wealth of experience and passion for the sport, and their collective leadership will help steer the Club toward its strategic goals while fostering an inclusive and vibrant curling community.
Special thanks go to Loraine Fedurco for her four years of dedicated service as Secretary, Paul Cameron for his steadfast commitment as Director-at-Large over the past four years, and Harold Holloway for his exemplary contributions to the Finance Committee during his four-year tenure.
