We wish to inform you that the Reynolds Street access to the West Parking Lot at the Oakville Curling Club will be temporarily closed due to construction activities at Wallace Park Tennis Club.
The Town of Oakville has commenced renovations to the tennis club facilities and, as part of this project, has erected a construction fence along our property line. While we have requested an easement to maintain access via Reynolds Street, the Town has advised that periodic closures will be necessary as they complete various phases of their work.
At this time, crews are removing the existing fencing and base of the tennis courts, which requires full closure of the Reynolds Street entrance. Access to the West Parking Lot will therefore be restricted until this portion of the work is complete.
All access to the West Parking Lot will now be done through Wallace Park Lane. We continue to work closely with the Town to minimize disruption and will keep you abreast of developments as they happen.
The current timeline has paving of the entire tennis club and their portion of the parking lot that abuts our lot expected to be finalized by November 15th. While this date may prove somewhat optimistic, we will take them at their word for the time being.
