Oakville Curling Club recognizes the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) for their support of the HVAC work completed at the club. Sept 24, 2023, Oakville MPP Stephen Crawford was on hand to celebrate The Oakville Curling Club recently completed project and all the necessary work required to install two major components in the lounge.
- Dehumidification Equipment – With the huge transitions of humidity and temperatures during the summer period, we have historically struggled with humidity levels in the lounge and keeping the windows to the ice rink fog free. With this new equipment we have noticed a massive improvement in controlling the humidity levels. We are now fog free.
- Air Purification Equipment – With Covid came increased sensitivity towards the quality of air and the circulation of airborne sicknesses. With our new purification equipment, we can now exchange and scrub the complete air space in the lounge 3-5 times per hour. Resulting in a safer and cleaner environment for our membership and visitors. Comfort and safety being our primary goals.
