Our Saturday Starter League (SSL) is open to recent graduates of a Learn 2 Curl program. This league is designed to assist in the transition from L2C to league play. Sign up as an individual and identify which position(s) you wish to play. 

It’s been a busy and exciting year so far for the Day Women’s section. Here are some highlights:

Colsen Flemington and his U18 team qualified for the Ontario Winter Games this past weekend at the Wingham Golf and Country Club.

Congratulations to Brady Lumley's Tuesday Evening Men's team for scoring an eight ender in the 6th end of their Men's A-League game last evening. 

Great article on our Oakville Curling Club member and para-athlete Billy Bridges. Billy plays in our Monday Night Open league as well as our Sunday Doubles League. 

Today's Senators league reported the first 8 Ender of the season here at the Oakville Curling Club. 

Huge Congratulations go out to Evan MacDougall and his team that competed in last weekends OVCA U21 Junior Superspiel. 

During the 2022-2023 season, the Oakville Curling Club created the Accessibility Committee with the goal of aligning the Club with AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) guidelines for accessible spaces.

With our club being very busy, if you cannot make your game, please cancel, and try to rebook. We have tried to keep open sheets on Sunday evenings at 7:50pm for makeup games. But if you cancel your games during the week, Casey will make these available to others to use for makeup games.

Welcome back for another season!! I’d like to mention a couple things that can benefit us all.

The Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (“ONCA”) came into force on October 19, 2021 and groups have until October 19, 2024 to bring themselves into compliance with the 'new' act.

Two Oakville teams have taken a huge step towards competing in the Canadian Club Championships. Team Cody Maus and Team Janet Murphy represented the Oakville Curling Club in the regional qualifying events at The Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club and The Dixie Curling Clubs respectively. 

Huge Congratulations to Janet Murphy and her Oakville team of Jacquie Ramier, Mary St. James and Jody Webster for scoring their once in a lifetime 8 ender.
