We regret to inform you that the 2020 OCC Summer League is cancelled. We know this doesn't come as a shock to anyone. This is the first time Summer League has been cancelled since its inception.
The decision had less to do with curling under COVID conditions (we feel that the protocols we're putting in place do a lot to reduce the risk to members, athletes and staff), and more to do with the ever-evolving dynamics of the pandemic and the associated restrictions from the provincial government and local public health authorities. Like all clubs, we're dealing with a moving target and we've found ourselves out of time to ensure a quailty curling experience for Summer League teams.
Full refunds will be processed in the next couple of weeks and you should see the funds on your card by the end of the month. Teams who were part of Summer League 2019 will retain ownership of their spots in the 2021/2022 season, with new teams who were registered this season being placed on the waitlist for available spots next season.
For our members, the new tentative reopening date is September 25th.
We thank you all for your support this year. We're looking forward to seeing you on the ice very soon!
