Board of Directors
Please consider volunteering with the Club's Board of Directors! The board is currently seeking volunteers for director positions starting June 2021. We are looking for a Secretary, Weekend Mixed League Director and 1 to 3 Directors-at-Large (portfolios TBD). League Directors work with league convenors and represent their leagues at the Board level. The Secretary is a member of the Executive and supports the Board with meetings, minutes and bylaw amendments. Directors-at-Large support the Board in a variety of roles that match ongoing projects at the Club with each Director's expertise and interest. The Board is currently looking for Directors-at-Large to provide support with one or more of the following:
- Marketing, communications and social media
- Fundraising and corporate partnerships
- Strategic and capital planning

Position Descriptions:
Renovation Committee
The Board of Directors is currently developing a capital improvements plan and is looking volunteers to help guide and and plan the project. The plan includes improvements to the curling facilities, including the repair or replacement of the arena floor, health and safety upgrades, accessibility upgrades, and more. Volunteers are required to assist the Board in the following project components:
- Project & construction planning and management
- Communications & fundraising
- Financial planning
- Volunteer recruitment

Bingo Coordinator
The Club is looking for a Bingo Volunteer Coordinator and Bingo Volunteers. The Club receives funding from Ontario Lottery and Gaming in exchange for providing volunteer support at the Delta Bingo in Oakville. The funding helps to fund our Youth programs and other youth-related purchases.
