The Oakville Curling Club is Closed for the Season

coronavirusThe Oakville Curling Club is aware of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and we are taking measures to protect our members, staff, volunteers and guests from infection.

The Club will be taking extra precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus, including providing additional sanitizer stations throughout the Club, providing disinfectant wipes in the rink, lounge and locker rooms, and extra cleaning of rink, lounge and washroom surfaces. We encourage members to avoid the traditional pre- and post-game handshakes in favour of elbow taps or fist bumps. If you are ill or think you may be ill, please stay home and utilize your league's spare list.

Furthermore, if you or someone you've been in contact with has recently been to a high-risk area (https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/latest-travel-health-advice.html), please take the necessary self-isolation measures to limit the spread of the virus. If you develop symptoms, seek immediate medical attention.
