Our 25th year of staging camps in Canada and the USA will see us return to the OAKVILLE CURLING CLUB for our annual summer three-day camp September 25-27.
Our traditional Oakville camp draws curlers from across the United States, Ontario and Quebec to your beautiful facility. This is an adult camp, open to individuals, couples, and teams.
Campers are organized in groups based on ability and experience, in order to maximize the learning experience.
Sessions include balance, line of delivery, release and rock rotation, various strategy sessions, team building and communication, as well as angles, throwing hits, and game situation analysis with our coaches.
We are excited to announce that 2018 World Mixed Champion Danielle Inglis and 2019 Ontario Champion Scott Scott McDonald will be headlining our team of talented instructors. Danielle and her team skipped by Mike Anderson won the World Mixed Curling Championships last fall in Kelowna, BC defeating Spain in the finals. Scott and his team from Kingston, Ontario just missed the playoffs at the 2019 Brier, tied for 5th with a 6-5 record.
Spaces are rapidly running out, so if you want to learn from Danielle or Scott and our other talented instructors, sign up at www.hotshotscurling.com/register before July 31, 2020. Cost is $769 plus tax. The camp starts on Friday, September 25 at 1:00pm and wraps up Sunday, September 27 at approximately 3:00pm. All meals, snacks, team building exercises and entertainment are included in the camp entry.
On behalf of our instructors, we look forward to working with Club Manager Chris Wai, Ice Technician Scott Foster, and the Board of Directors of the Oakville Curling Club to make this camp a huge success.
Good curling and see you in September!
