Dear Members,

We received the following email today from Brian Sheridan. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Sheridan family.

It is my sad duty to tell you that my beloved Sandi passed away February 2nd at Trillium Hospital. Last Sunday she lost her balance and fell in the kitchen hitting her head on the floor. As we were concerned about a concussion we had her rushed to Oakville Hospital. Upon doing a Cat scan they discovered she had a large mass in her brain. She was transported to Trillium that night where on Tuesday they performed an MRI advising us the tumor was cancerous and based on its location was inoperable, and would not be responsive to radiation. Our only recourse was to keep her comfortable and make it easy as possible for her. As recently as Feb. 1st she was bright and responsive, however in the early morning hours of Thursday Feb. 2nd she slipped into a coma and passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

Both my son (Craig) and I are shocked by the speed of this disease's progression, and are devastated by the loss of the most important person in our lives. As some of you have already heard about our loss and called or e-mailed your warm and caring thoughts, Thank You. Having friends and being surrounded by caring people at a time like this is comforting and gives us strength to face the day.

Below are the details of Sandi's arrangements,
