We are hiring for the following positions:

Ice Apprentice & Club Attendant:

Positions Available:  2-3
Experience Required: 
- None required
- previous Curling experience as a player is an asset
Certifications Required: 
- Standard First Aid CPR C + AED*
*Certification not required at the time of application however must attain within the first 2 months.
 
Position Description:
- An Ice Apprentice & Club Attendant is responsible for assisting with the preparation of the ice surface and arena for play.
- In addition to working on the ice, duties include helping with club operations such as taking out the garbage/recycling, vacuuming, putting away deliveries, helping bar staff, setting up and tearing down tables and chairs for special events, and other tasks to help the Club function effectively.
- Typical shift schedule is one or two weeknight shifts (5:00 pm-9:30 pm) and one or two weekend shifts, totaling approximately 14 hours/week.
- Students entering grade 10 are preferred however not mandatory.

Senior Ice & Operations Attendant:

Positions Available:  1
Experience Required:  
-  Minimum of 2 years of Curling experience
-  Minimum of 1 year of ice making experience preferred but not mandatory
Certifications Required: 
-  Standard First Aid CPR C + AED*
-  Level 1 Ice Technician*
*Certification not required at the time of application however within the first 2 months.
 
Position Description:
-  The Senior Ice & Operations Attendant is responsible for assisting with the preparation of the ice surface and arena for play.
-  In addition to working on the ice, duties include helping with club operations such as taking out the garbage/recycling, vacuuming, putting away deliveries, helping bar staff, setting up and tearing down tables and chairs for special events, and other tasks to help the Club function effectively.
- Must be available to work weekdays, nights and weekends.

Positions Available:  3
Experience Required:  
-  Minimum of 2 years of Curling experience
-  Curling experience preferred but not mandatory
Certifications Required: 
-  Smart Serve trained
-  Standard First Aid CPR C + AED*
*Certification not required at the time of application however within the first 2 months.
 
Position Brief:
-  Bartending & Operations Attendant's are to be friendly, patient and have a helpful attitude towards members and guests
-  Posses the ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
-  Keep the bar & lounge clear, tidy, organized and stocked
-  Have a flexible schedule with full availability on nights and weekends
-  Possess a working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations 
-  In addition to bartending responsibilties, duties include helping with club operations such as taking out the garbage/recycling, vacuuming, putting away deliveries, setting up and tearing down tables and chairs for special events, and other tasks to help the Club function effectively.

Member & Guest Services Attendant:

Positions Available:  1-2
Experience Required:  
-  Customer service experience preferred but not mandatory
-  Curling experience preferred but not mandatory
Certifications Required: 
-  Standard First Aid CPR C + AED*
*Certification not required at the time of application however within the first 2 months.
 
Position Brief:
-  Member & Guest Services Attendants are responsible for providing customer service to all members and guests of the club
-  Assists with filing, proshop sales, inquiries, and general assistance with weekly leagues and special events
-  In addition to working in the office, duties include helping with club operations such as taking out the garbage/recycling, vacuuming, putting away deliveries, setting up and tearing down tables and chairs for special events, and other tasks to help the Club function effectively.
- Must be available to work weekends and the occassional week night
